THE BASTARD'S BARGAIN by Katee Robert is book Six in "The O'Malleys" series. This is the story of Keira O’Malley and Dmitri Romanov. I have read the previous book (and Loved it) but feel you can make this a standalone book if you choose to do so. Keira and Dmitri agreement to marry did start in the last book but this book takes off from there.
Keira being the youngest of the O'Malley clan was protected in someways and I thought left to her own on other ways. Keria has been going off the deep end since the lost of a close family relative. So much so that she was doing drugs and drinking to much....along with loosing her self value.
Dmitri is the boss of the Romanov gang and has been somewhat of the bad guy through out most of this series. But he is slowly turning into something else and this book just spot lighted it. Dmitri sees more in Keria than her family or even Keria herself. But he needs her to become that person who he knows she can be. Dmitri really showed more patience than I thought he would have toward helping Keria.
I really enjoyed Ms. Roberts writing in the telling of their story. Exciting Read!
