Tarah Scott is a great writer and I just love her Highland books!! This is book one in the series: Highland Lords. For me I have been reading the series out of order and have not found a problem with doing so. The heroine is American heiress Elise Kingston who has lost her daughter. Elise is planning to seek revenge on the people that have taken her family away. The hero, Marcus MacGregor, Marquess of Ashlund returned home to find that his clan has taken in Elise.
